Faith That Christ Covers Us: Trust
It is my will to do good and always obey God. I am imperfect in my execution of that will and I’m alright with that. For when I am weak, He is always so much stronger. I am comfortable with my finiteness because I have a personal relationship with the one and true God who is omnipresent, omnipotent, just and righteous. His grace is more than enough and the shed blood of His Son covers me. I don’t deserve it but He loves me in spite of me. In my opinion, you can’t get any better than that.
So today, I say hallelujah and thank You Lord because God has a preferred and promised future for me. “Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit says the Lord of Host.” – Just something on my mind while the kids were napping. In all things I will trust Him and have faith.
Praise and Worship At All Times
We should praise God in our infirmities. Christ embraced His cross and I believe that we should do the same. God is so limitless, we should never look at our situations and feel that this is the end. Even the worst of problems can turnaround overnight. A bad thing could be a blessing in disguise. We serve the God of restoration and reconciliation. It is truly a question our faith. Do we really believe God the way we often claim? God is more than enough yet we doubt Him and walk in fear.. I’m not saying that this applies to everyone, but I am sure many can relate. I know that I am guilty. God has been so good to me yet I have times of doubt and fear. These times are not even logical because God has shown me over and over that He is in control.
I just wanted to encourage you to trust God with everything that is within you. I don’t always do this perfectly, but I am striving for it everyday. If it is in adoption, foster care, homeschooling or whatever God has put on your heart to do, trust Him. I know what it feels like to be in the valley and have no idea how you will ever get out. I am a living witness that there is a God in heaven who sent His Son to die on the cross for you and for me. He is not some clockmaker God who is not involved in the lives of His people. God is always near even when we don’t realize it. He keeps His promises and will never leave you nor forsake you. Keep pressing toward the mark.
Philippians 3:14- I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
2 Corinthians 1:20- For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.
